Colorful and unusual necklace from the (former headhunting) Konyak Naga tribe of the Indian state of Nagaland, which is found in Northern India. This 100 year old piece of jewelry features four brass heads as a wonderful pendant (measures 5.50" from ear to ear, and 1.50" tall), traditionally meant to represent how many heads were severed and collected by the wearer.. Beads average 16mm in diameter; strand measures 32".
