What is Pau d'Arco?
Pau d'Arco, known as the "treasure of the Inca", is the dried bark of the Lapacho tree, which grows in tropical and humid climates in Central and South America. The plant is found in modern Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil and Guyana, but the Incas, the indigenous inhabitants of these areas, knew and used its health-promoting properties centuries ago.
