Rare Soft Blue Transferware Chop Plate / Round Platter

Here is a stunning piece of transferware by Royal Doulton potteries Staffordshire England. It is a large, round serving tray / platter or chop plate depicting a most charming, bucolic scene set in a rural, alpine landscape. 

This would be gorgeous used as a cake platter with a glass dome over it!

ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL & DESIRABLE OF TRANSFER PATTERNS!

Measures 13" 

Condition: No chips or cracks. There is some typical, age related crazing present. There are surface scratches mainly seen in direct light or turned at an angle.

I used my stock photo for the backstamp picture...the stamp on this plate is identical but the hand numbered stamp is different.
